How to Measure for
Your Rontimco Pool Dome
Please note:
The measurements you provide are the dimensions of the dome, not the pool.
With indelible marker or nail polish, mark the perimeter points of your proposed dome. Mark at least every3
feet or ever 1 meter around corners and angles. If your
pool is rectangular or has long stretches of straight lines it isn't necessary to
mark so close. See point 6 to 7 in the example below. Make the
marksabout the size of a dime and will be used again when you install your dome.
It is best to allow at least 36 inches (3 feet) (1 meter) around the perimeter
of your pool for safety purposes.
Number a mark #1, and in a clockwise direction continue
numbering the marks all the way around. The size and shape of your dome will
determine how many "points" you make.
Choose two points that are at least 10 feet away from each other (see points 1
& 2 in the diagram below), and in the form below, furnish the distances from
each point to all the other points. There should NOT be points that fall beyond
the parallel of the 2 main points from which you are measuring (for example, do
not use #10 & #2, because #1 is at a higher point than 10 and
2. This will skew the diagram when we plot the cover).Please provide the information in feet and
inches to the nearest 1/4 inch or in meters and centimeters to the
nearest 1/2 centimeter. If you have more points than are listed on the form, please
add those measurements on an additional sheet of paper.
