In the above example, the swimming pool size is 16' x 32'. Normally you would allow an 18" overlap onto the deck to allow for setting of the anchoring sustem and ease of handling of the cover itself. This helps keep you and the swimming pool cover (as well as any debris on top of it) out of the water. This 18" overlap adds 3' overall to the size of the cover as you can see in the diagram above.

| Bolt Down System $1.52 / sq. ft. | Pin System $1.45 / sq. ft. | |
To calculate the price of a cover for your pool, multiply the length times the width of your POOL COVER (allowing for the 18" overlap), not the size of your pool. If you have any "irregular" shaped pool, your measurements would be based on the longest length and widest width of the cover. Say you have a 16' x 32' pool as shown above. Adding and additional 18" around the perimeter would give you a cover size of 19' x 35'. Our square footage price for the bolt down anchoring system cover is $1.52 per square foot (this includes the cover and the anchoring system). Example: 19' x 35' = 665 square feet of cover.665 sq ft x $1.52 = $1010.80 |
We understand that not all of our customers need such an extreme measure of safety. For those of you who desire the quality of our Hugger Cover and do not need the locking anchor system, we off the exact same cover with the conventional stainless steel flathead pin anchoring system at $1.45 per square foot. (price includes cover and pin anchoring system). Example: 19' x 35' = 665 square feet of cover. 665 sq ft x $1.45 =$964.25 |

The flat pin anchoring system is made for easy-on, easy-off usage. 1/4" holes are drilled at 4' intervals in the deck around the pool. The pin drops into the hole, and the cable is looped around the pin. To remove the pool cover, lift the pin and unhook the cable. The pins can remain in place in the deck without, and since they don't stick up, there is nothing to trip or step on.
The concrete anchors are used when more security is needed. The concrete anchor sleeve (similar to the "Redhead" brand anchor) is set into holes at 6' intervals around the pool. The bolt with washer threads into the anchor. The cable loops around the bolt and the bolt is tightened down.
